Villages

La Savina:

La Savina port would be the first town to take into account, since it is the only access that has the tourist to the island, and so it is of vital importance. If anything characterises the Savina is the continuous transit of boats: boats that bring and take tourists to Formentera, small and large boats, fishing, and in summer an incredible number of pleasure boats captained by people who decide to spend their summer holidays at the sea, along the Mediterranean coast.

San Francisco Javier:

At three kilometers from the port we find Sant Francesc Xavier, the most important urban centre, considered as the capital of the island.San Francesc is the most visited town during the day due to its large number of shops and bars, and above all the promenade, where you will find numerous stalls hippies, which attracts tourists with a multitude of objects related to the island. All this makes this town the capital of the island and a site visit during the day.

San Fernando:

Following on the same road that leaves the port and after passing through Sant Francesc, the next town is Sant Ferran. Sant Ferran is one of the most mythical places and with more history of the island: La Fonda Pepe, one of the few places that has hardly changed since in the 1960s when it opened its doors.

The village offers a variety of bars and restaurants that you can go to eat or just have a drink.

Es Pujols:

The last town and surely the one more directed to tourism, it is Pujols. It can be reached from the port exit or through Sant Ferran. It has restaurants, bars, pubs and nightclubs that make this a tourist paradise. During the night there’s a festive atmosphere, especially in pubs and on the waterfront, where the hippie flea market attracts people, and the festive atmosphere, mixing with the scent of the sea.

La Mola:

Without leaving the main road, the next stop after San Ferran is La Mola, the farthest village, in the highest point of the Island, it is located about 15 kilometres from Sant Ferran. Its main attraction is the hippie market that opens twice a week (Wednesday and Sunday). Another attraction of this small village is the lighthouse at la Mola.

Es Caló:

Small corner of fishermen, where you can taste the sea in a marine environment. The beach is small and right there are the cliffs of the Mola.
We recomend to visit the ambinet and the restaurants in the area.
